As a part of the MA in Social Design program at MICA, I was tasked with submitting a thesis project. This project summary document is a compilation of the human centered design process I followed in order to investigate the complex history and current state of Baltimore's high-vacancy neighborhoods. I detail my primary and secondary research, discuss causes for the current phenomena, and suggest possible routes forward.
